HUNTSVILLE, Ala. The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team scored 100 points for a sixth straight game to open the season while once again breaking program records as the Lady Chargers defeated visiting Judson by a 136-30 score. UAH improves to 5-1 with the victory.
The 136 points represents the highest total in program and Gulf South Conference history, surpassing the old mark of 134 that this year's team established against Hiwassee in the season opener. Additionally, the team scored 84 points in the first half to break the mark of 76 that was also set in this year's first game.
Every player in the UAH lineup scored yet again, and nine of the Lady Chargers scored in double figures led by Jasmyne Reeves who scored 21 and grabbed 10 rebounds for her first career double-double. Reeves scored 11 of her points in the first half, while Jasmine Hammon tallied 15 of her 17 in the period to help UAH establish an 84-16 lead at the half.
