Woman Hospitalized After Wreck; Alcohol Suspected

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Alcohol is suspected of being a factor in a single-vehicle wreck in Limestone County.

It happened around 2:15 a.m. on Highway 53 near Coggins Road.

Authorities say a woman lost control of her vehicle, the car left the road, took out a street sign and flipped several times.

The driver was thrown from the vehicle. She was taken to Madison Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
