WOODVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of three members of the same family. All died within four hours of each other.

The deaths happened Saturday and Sunday, November 9 and 10. All three people lived in the same house.

Georgia Ann Moody, 78, died at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro on November 9. Ricky Nelson Moody, 54, died later that day and Jerry Lynn Moody, 58, died November 10, according to funeral home listings. Both men died at the family’s home.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is awaiting autopsy results in the case.

“It’s obviously strange,” Chief Deputy Rocky Harnen told The Daily Sentinel on Friday. “But right now there’s no sign of foul play as far as we can tell.”

Funerals were held last week at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel in Ider.
