Man Charged in Deadly Shooting on Hurricane Creek Road

GURLEY, Ala. (WHNT) -  Madison County deputies have charged a man in connection with a deadly shooting on Hurricane Creek Road.

Robert Edwin Walker, 53, of Gurley, is charged with murder.

Deputies booked Walker into the Madison County Detention Facility around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday.

The deadly shooting happened just around 9:15 p.m. Monday at a mobile home in the 1400 block of Hurricane Creek Road in Gurley.

Deputies say the victim, Robert Earl Clark, 50, was shot to death.

Clark lived at 1464 Hurricane Creek Road.

Investigators say the shooting appears to be the result of a domestic dispute between the two men.
