UPDATE: Huntsville Police say Qualitest Robbery was an ‘Inside Job’

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Police say they’ve arrested an employee for a robbery early Friday morning at Qualitest Pharmaceuticals.

The incident happened around 4 a.m.

Employees told police several men entered Qualitest when a door was opened.  They took several boxes of medication.

Through the investigation, police learned an employee was involved and she was arrested.  Royale Barbee McGruder, 27, is charged with first-degree robbery.

Qualitest Pharmaceuticals is on Vintage Drive near the intersection of Winchester Road and Moores Mill Road.

Police say the investigation continues.

      This was an honor student from AAMU and she would go and do something so stupid as this. What was she thinking? There are over 200 cameras in that plant for dummies like her. You have to be a stone cold idiot to steal from A pharmaceutical plant.

    As someone who knows this young lady personally it’s really sad to see people so quick to jump to conclusions and begin to bad mouth without knowing the full story. In regards to her involvement it is my hope that there’s been some kind of mixup. But until the truth comes out I’d much rather stay positive and hope for the best.
