HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Still Serving Veterans, a Huntsville-based organization, is being awarded a "Seal of Distinction Award" by Activision's Call Of Duty Endowment.

The award recognizes the most effective and efficient non-profits focused on veteran job placement into high quality careers.

This isn't the first time Still Serving Veterans has been recognized with this endowment.

"Still Serving Veterans is honored and excited to be named as one of the original recipients of the Call of Duty Endowment's Seal of Distinction Award," said Will Webb, President of Still Serving Veterans. "We are blessed to be a multi-year CODE grant recipient, and are thrilled that our service to Veterans continues to be recognized. In 2013, the Endowment provided us with substantial funding to leverage our successful support of veterans on behalf of their 'chapterization' model. CODE’s support and leadership helped us launch a pilot satellite office which lays the groundwork for our expansion throughout Alabama and our region. We look forward to a continued partnership with the Endowment to help us push the envelope on employment services for veterans in Alabama and beyond. Meaningful post-military careers are the best ‘thank yous’ we can give the veterans who sacrificed on our behalf.”
