MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – Madison Police say a man will face numerous citations following a high-speed chase that ended on Greenbrier Road.

The chase ended around 11 a.m. Thursday.

Major Jim Cook said the man was speeding on County Line Road, going approximately 90 miles per hour.  Officers tried to pull him over, but he wouldn’t stop, Cook said.  They chased him on to Greenbrier Road, where the man lost control of his vehicle, crashed in a field and wrecked.

Police say the man, Adam Edward Utz, 24, was taken to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.

Why people do the things they do. I have a 15 year old son that just got his permit and I have been teaching him how to drive. The adults are suppose to set a good example for the teens and children but some children and teens are smarter than some adults
