MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – Bob Jones High School and Discovery Middle School joined together for an evening of music and entertainment Tuesday night.

Nearly 2,000 people gathered for performances by The Discovery Middle School Marching & Jazz Bands; the Bob Jones Marching Patriots, Jazz Band and Dance Line; and Dance Trance Huntsville-Madison.

The Marching Patriots headlined the night with two separate shows as a way to present their new uniforms. One from the full marching band, the other from a smaller competition group.

The goal for the evening: to raise money to help the Bob Jones band go to the Outback Bowl in Tampa, Fla. and the Discovery band’s planned trip to Orlando, Fla. in the spring.
