ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ala. – A Ragland teen has been indicted for capital murder in connection to his half-sister’s hanging death.

ABC 33/40 reports a grand jury indicted John Dillon Salers, 15, for the murder of Katelyn Arnold. The 9-year-old girl died after she was hanged at her home in Ragland on May 10.

The indictment came this week, ABC 33/40 reports.

Salers was 14 at the time of the murder. He will be arraigned in November.
