Giles Co. Teacher Charged With Sexual Battery

LYNNVILLE, Tenn. (WHNT) – A Tennessee teacher has been charged after a complaint of sexual misconduct at Richland High School.

The Giles County Sheriff’s Office investigated the complaint and charged Edward Ray Bryan, a teacher, with two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure.

Bryan, of Lacey’s Spring, Ala., is being held in the Giles County Jail on $40,000 bond.

The Sheriff’s Office said the investigation continues.  No more details were released.
