COURTLAND, Ala. (WHNT) – A 75-year-old man died in an accident on a construction site Thursday near the Courtland Air Field.

Martin Dean Terry was working on the site when he had a heart attack.  This was shortly before 9 a.m., in a field off Yeager Avenue.

Another worker said he had talked with the man about an hour before this.  He went to check on him, and found him in a ravine.

Several agencies helped with the effort, including Courtland Police and Fire, Town Creek Fire, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and Lawrence County Coroner.

Terry lived in Hillsboro.
