Time to get dirty at the Riverbottom Swamp Romp on Saturday, September 7th.  It's the Shoals area's very own mud and obstacle run, located in the river bottoms of McFarland Park in Florence.  A three to five mile race, including 20+ obstacles that will challenge the hard core outdoors enthusiasts but will also be manageable for the weekend warriors and those beginner adventure racers, is brought to you by the Florence Tourism Board and supported by the City of Florence Fire, Police and EMS.

Proceeds from this event will go toward Youth Partnerships in the Shoals area, keeping your donation dollars close to home.  Your ticket will allow you free access to all pre-race pickup events as well as the post-race party sponsored by the River Bottom Grille by Stanfield's.  Check out the Stay and Play packages that will include hotel accomodations, race admission, post race party and a ticket to the UNA Lions football game that evening.

For families with smaller children, there will be a kids run on their own mud course...free of charge!

Tickets will be available on race day but will be limited.  To purchase advance tickets, go to http://riverbottomswampromp.ticketleap.com/riverbottom-swamp-romp/ .
