LILLIAN, Ala. - Here's one way some people in south Alabama celebrated their extended Labor Day weekend.  They tossed fish at the 27th Annual Mullet Festival in Lillian.

One expert tosser describes the technique of the toss.

"People wad them up like a baseball. Roll them up and people put dirt on them, find sand and put that on because they think that it flies through the air better."

The festival included a 5K run and a bake sale.  Proceeds from the Mullet Festival events went to various youth programs.
