Huntsville Police Investigate Man’s Death on Railroad Tracks

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Police were called to the railroad tracks behind the 2100 block of Jackson Avenue where someone found a man’s body on the tracks.  At this time, police are calling this a death investigation.

They have not yet released the name of the man who died or any specific circumstances behind his death.  While WHNT News 19 was on the scene, we did notice a train stopped in the area.

At this time, we do not know if the train hit the person or not.

As soon as they release more information, WHNT News 19 will update you on air and on line.

We’re told the man was in his mid- to- late 30s.
