Decatur Woman Arrested for Fake Prescription

DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) — Decatur Police arrested a woman for attempting to use a fake prescription.

Amy Clemmons was arrested at the Pill Box Pharmacy on Danville Road SW on Friday. The officer who responded to the call says he was told by the pharmacist that Clemmons had brought in a prescription for pain medicine. Police say that Parkway Medical Hospital confirmed that the prescription was a forgery.

According to law enforcement, they stopped Clemmons in the parking lot and arrested her.
