Sheriff Ana Franklin to Hold Town Hall Meetings on New Gun Law

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – The new Alabama gun law that goes into effect on August 1 has caused confusion for many of the Tennessee Valley’s residents.

In order to help the public better understand this law, Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin will be holding several town hall style meetings throughout the county.  She will be at various locations speaking to citizens about any concerns they they may have.

August 1 – Mud Tavern Volunteer Fire Department, 7:00 p.m.

August 5 – Cotaco Volunteer Fire Department, 7:00 p.m.

August 6 – Decatur Elk’s Lodge, 7:00 p.m.

August 8 – Rock Creek Volunteer Fire Department, 7:00 p.m.

August 12 – Hartselle Civic Center, 7:00 p.m.

August 15 – S.A.V.E.S Volunteer Fire Department, 7:00 p.m.

August 20 – S.A.V.E.S (New Center Baptist), 7:00 p.m.

August 22 – Eva (Community Center), 6:30 p.m.

August 27th – Priceville Town Hall on, 7:00 p.m.
