Update: Two Missing Killen Brothers Found

KILLEN, Ala. (WHNT) – Lauderdale County officials tell WHNT News 19 two missing brothers have been found in a Shoals home.

Lauderdale County officials were searching for the two teenagers who went missing near Lock 6 Road in Killen.

Authorities say two brothers, 16-year-old Andrew Blevins and a 14-year-old Benjamin Blevins, left a note at 6 a.m. that stated they were going to live in the wilderness.

They packed sandwiches and had fishing poles.

Their grandparents reported them missing at 2:30 p.m. They were not believed to be in any danger.

Authorities do not suspect foul-play.

The Limestone County helicopter helped with the search effort.
