DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) — Decatur Police have arrested a woman after an investigation with a few twists.

Police were called to a stabbing and a robbery, both about 9:00 Friday night.

Officers say they found a man with a non-life threatening stab wound to his leg near Central Parkway and Pride Lane.

Police at the scene of the reported robbery say they found 29-year-old Billie Corum and another woman in a car.  Corum claimed she had been robbed. However, investigators say it was actually Corum who did the robbing, and the stabbing victim identified her.

Corum was arrested and charged with robbery. She is currently in the Decatur City Jail.

The stabbing victim is expected to make a full recovery.
