Huntsville’s Toyota Plant Makes History in 2003

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Automotive history was made in 2003 when the first Toyota V8 engine made outside of Japan was built at the company's Huntsville plant.

The plant produces car and truck engines for various Toyota vehicles. More than 1,000 people work at the plant.
