Thibodaux, La. - (  The Manning Passing Academy started Thursday and ends Sunday in Thibodaux, La. It's the 18th year of the skills camp that was started by SEC legend Archie Manning and features his sons -- NFL stars Peyton and Eli Manning -- and it's the eighth year it has been held at Nicholls State University.

Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron and Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manzielare there again as camp counselors, helping quarterbacks in grades 8-12. They are rooming together.

There's more of a stir this year than there was a year ago. McCarron has led Alabama to the past two national championships. Manziel became the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy last year and helped the Aggies hand the Crimson Tide its only loss last season.
