(WHNT) - Need tips on ground cover for your garden paths?  Look no further!

Jeff Bennett of Bennett Nurseries says you have several options.  You can go with mulch, grass, or even some pathway plants that can take foot traffic.

Lysimachia, more commonly known as 'Golden Creeping Jenny', is a good one.  It likes sun but is also shade tolerant.

There's also Creeping Thyme.

Bennett suggest you also consider if you want the plant to be evergreen - meaning, it will be present in the winter.  If not, choose a type of ground cover that loses its foliage in the winter and comes back in the spring.
