Jackson Wins 50th Girls’ State Junior Championship

Decatur, Ala. (WHNT) - Mountain Brook's Tatum Jackson was the only player to shoot under par during the final round of the 50th Girls' State Junior Championship.  Her score of 69 was more than enough to capture the title at Decatur Country Club.

Athens' Micheala Williams was the top local golfer, shooting seven-over-par and finishing in third place.

Other locals include Hartselle's Arin Eddy who finished tied for sixth at 14-over-par, Muscle Shoals' Katelyn Gilmore who finished tied for eighth at 18-over-par and Hartselle's Beth Ann Compton who also finished tied for eighth at 18-over-par.
