HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Woody Anderson Ford, along with Operation Gratitude, is hosting a special event now through June 15 at its Jordan Lane location.  It's called “Go Further for Our Troops.”

Woody Anderson Ford will donate $15 to Operation Gratitude for everyone who test drives a vehicle during the event.

“The Military and their families are always on our minds this time of year, but we often don’t realize the need they have for everyday items that we may take for granted,” said Bobby White, General Manager at Woody Anderson Ford. “We’re excited to raise money for Operation Gratitude and send care packages to those who risk their lives every day for our country.”

In addition to helping raise the funds for the care packages, drivers will be able to create a personalized message to be included in the package, which will be donated on their behalf.

Operation Gratitude provides care packages for our military members in appreciation for all they are doing.   Anyone 18 or older with a valid driver's license can participate during normal business hours between 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m. from Thursday, June 13, until Saturday, June 15.
