FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) - A man pleaded guilty to three charges Friday morning for a 2011 murder in Florence.

Devante Barnett pleaded guilty to felony murder for the death of Dillon Honey in July 2011.  He also pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree robbery.

Honey, 17, was shot in a botched robbery attempt in a home on Blair Street.

Lauderdale County Circuit Judge Mike Jones sentenced Barnett to life with parole for the murder charge and 20 years for each of the two robbery charges.  All sentences will run concurrently.

Barnett was scheduled to go on trial June 10.  He was initially indicted on a capital murder charge and two counts of first-degree robbery.

Another defendant, LaMarcus LeShore, pleaded guilty on Tuesday in the same case.

A third defendant, Tyrus Thompson, has not entered a plea.  His trial is scheduled for September.
