Man Arrested In Counterfeit Bill Scheme In Rogersville

ROGERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) –  Rogersville Police have arrested a man they say passed fake 20 dollar bills to businesses in their city.

Deantelis Dewayne Nance, 20, has been charged with possession of a forged instrument.

According to investigators, they were able to catch Nance by using surveillance cameras at one of the businesses to identify him.

Police Chief Terry Holden says all of the fake bills had the same serial numbers printed on them.
