Three Teens Shot at Graduation Party, Arrest Made

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) -- The Madison County Sheriff's Office has arrested a young man following a shooting at a graduation celebration.

Trome Tousounteeha Nino Sibler-Lyons, 20, is charged with assault 1st degree, two counts of assault 2nd degree, reckless endangerment, and carrying a concealed weapon.  He lives in Huntsville.

Authorities say a couple hundred people were gathered for a Buckhorn High graduation party when a fight broke out.  The party started at about 9:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Michael Drive, just off Winchester Road. Three hours later, things turned violent.

According to authorities, a group of students ganged up on one person. That person pulled out a gun and started shooting.  Three teenagers were shot. The most seriously injured was a female.  She was shot in the stomach and was rushed into surgery. The other two males were shot in the legs and sustained non life-threatening injuries. They were all treated at Huntsville Hospital.

The Madison County Sheriff's Department is investigating. They interviewed several people at the party and questioned students involved in the fight.
