HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — One person has been taken to the hospital after being being T-boned by a car.

At about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, Huntsville police say a Volvo crashed into a street sweeper at the entrance to Target on Carl T. Jones Drive.

The sweeper flipped on its side, trapping the driver.

Huntsville Fire Department had to cut the roof off the vehicle to free him.

He was taken to Huntsville Hospital with minor injuries.
