Two Men Charged With Kidnapping, Robbery For Incident At Baumhower’s

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Police arrested two men on robbery and kidnapping charges Monday night for an incident that started in the parking lot of a popular restaurant.

Officers responded to a call about a fight in the parking lot of Baumhower’s Restaurant on Balmoral Drive.  Police say two men, Joel Riggs and Jonathan Burrell, pushed Ryan Prince into Prince’s vehicle and one of the men drove off with him inside.

Police quickly found the vehicle and arrested Riggs, 25 and Burrell, 24.  They are charged with first-degree kidnapping and second-degree strong-arm robbery.

The victim, Prince, had minor injuries from the fight.  Prince is 20 years old.
