David Hergenroeder to Replace Phil Schmidt on Madison City School Board

MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – David Hergenroeder has been chosen to fill the board position to be vacated by Phil Schmidt.

The school board vice president, Schmidt decided to leave at the end of his five-year term in June.

The school board, made up of five members, has one vacant position open every year, but can choose to reappoint the current board member if they so choose.

Hergenroeder attended college at West Point.
