Wreck Near Calhoun Decatur Campus Leaves Four Injured

DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) – Four people are in the hospital tonight after a single vehicle accident in Decatur.

Decatur Police, Decatur Fire, and Tanner Fire responded to a wreck on Hwy 31 N in Limestone County in a field next to the Calhoun Decatur Campus. They found one vehicle that had rolled over and come to rest in the field.

Four were injured in the crash. One person ejected from the vehicle. Two were flown via Med-Flight to Huntsville Hospital.  The other two were driven to the hospital.

The vehicle was reportedly driving southbound when it crossed the median and northbound lanes.  The vehicle landed upright in the field.

The Limestone County Sheriffs Dept. is investigating the cause of the crash.
