Update: Tennessee Authorities Find Missing Teen with Ties to Madison County

Michael Shawn Bell

LINCOLN, Tenn. (WHNT) – Update: Michael Bell has been found by authorities and is being returned to his family.

Authorities are searching for an autistic teen who went missing Wednesday morning.

Michael Shawn Bell was last seen in Lincoln County this morning at 9:30 a.m.  Bell was last wearing all black clothing and possibly black tennis shoes.  He was carrying a black back pack and black duffle bag.  Bell also has a black/white chihuahua with him.

Bell is a white male who is 15-years-old, 5’6”-5’8”, 130lbs.  He has shaggy sandy brown hair and blue eyes.

According to authorities, Bell has relatives in Madison County, AL.

Bell’s family is particularly worried about him because he has autism.
