WASHINGTON, D.C. (WHNT) – Senator Richard Shelby’s office reports the suspicious package that was discovered at the Senator’s office last week tested negative for any hazardous substances.

Senator Shelby’s office did not report any connection to the other packages that contained the deadly poison ricin that were sent to other Senators’ offices.
