Stars Edged By Smokies, 4-3

Huntsville, Ala. - The Huntsville Stars could not muster another ninth-inning comeback Tuesday night, losing to the Tennessee Smokies 4-3.

Though the Stars outhit the Smokies 8-7, Matt Szczur, Justin Bour and Rubi Silva each hit solo home runs.  Kentrail Davis was able to counter with a solo homer of his own, but Smokies pitching combined for eight strikeouts.

The Stars continue their homestand at 10:43 Wednesday morning.
