HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Accused Discovery Shooter Hammad Memon’s Lead attorney Bruce Gardner and his co-counsel Robin Clem have withdrawn their motion requesting to be removed from the case.

In their motion filed last Wednesday, Gardner and Clem cited no reason for the request to be removed but state in their withdrawal “that all issues which led to the filing of said motion have been resolved.”

Less than 24 hours after Gardner’s and Clem’s original request for withdrawal, another withdrawal filing was made by Birmingham lawyer James Parkman, who also represents Memon.

Parkman also did not list a reason on his notice, but the filing did state that his agreement to take on the case was specifically conditioned on Bruce Gardner also staying on. Parkman has also withdrawn his request and will be returning to represent Memon.
