Huntsville Speedway Makes Renovations

Huntsville, Ala. (WHNT) - Renovations to Huntsville Speedway are pushing the start of this season back by two weeks.

Crew are working to repair damage from several storms this Spring, as well as make upgrades to the 54-year old track.  Catch fencing will be installed around turn one and a new scoreboard is supposed to be ready next month.

$300,000 worth of repairs and renovations are going into the track.  Racing is set to begin May 3rd.
