HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Police and U.S. Marshals arrested a second person Friday morning in a murder that happened earlier this week.

David Dewayne Darrell was arrested at a motel in south Huntsville.  Investigators say Darrell has a significant criminal history, including arrests for burglary, assault, narcotics violations, and resisting arrest.

Police had already arrested Patrick Connell Larnce on Tuesday.

The victim, Mark Schillo, was shot in the 3900 block of Melody Road on Monday evening.  He tried to drive himself to the hospital when he crashed his car at the corner of Meridian Street and Chase Road.  Paramedics took him to Huntsville Hospital, where he died.

Both Darrell and Larnce are charged with capital murder.
