HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Huntsville Heli Flyers group is hosting a “Fun Fly” for remote-controlled helicopters on April 19-22.

The 2013 Huntsville Heli Flyers “Fun Fly” will be held at the Huntsville Heli Flyer’s Field on Chase Road in Huntsville.

The whole family is invited and new pilots are welcome.  Beginning at 8 a.m. each day, there will be contests, food, and fun for all.

There is a $25 land fee for pilots, but spectators are free.

The Fun Fly will feature many world class pilots including Matt Botos, Alan Szabo, Bert Kammerer, Todd Bennett, Bobby Watts, Colin Bell, Kyle Stacy, and more.

There will also be a raffle for a Synergy E5 Kit, “The New” Futaba 14SG Radio, a Futaba GY750, a Futaba BLS Servos, an OS Motor, and more.

There will be remote controlled helicopters with cameras mounted on them that will be taking pictures of the event.
