Fourth Arrest in Connection with Sheffield Home Invasion Murder

SHEFFIELD, Ala. (WHNT) – Law enforcement agents in the Shoals are reporting that there has been a fourth arrest in a Sheffield home invasion that occurred on Feb 22.

Fernando King was arrested in Lake County, OH. He will be extradited to Alabama in the next couple of days.

The home invasion happened at a home in the 200 block of Sterling Boulevard just before 10 p.m. on Feb 22.

Witnesses at the home tell police two men burst in and attempted to rob the people inside.

Chief Greg Ray says that 27 year-old Dorian Cliff Hamilton was attempting to keep the men out of a back bedroom when one of the intruders shot through the door, fatally wounding Hamilton.
