HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Huntsville Firefighters were called to two different locations around the same time Sunday night.

Firefighters were called to 2807 Laurel Court Yard Apartments around 10:00 p.m. after a call about a mattress fire.  The apartment resident thought the fire was out, but it apparently rekindled.  Two units were destroyed in the fire, leaving at least six people without a place to live.  No one was hurt in the fire.

Around the same time, firefighters were called to a home on the 3800 block of North Memorial Parkway. Firefighters tell us a family of five is displaced after a chimney fire.  The attic and living room of the home are damaged.

The American Red Cross is helping all the people displaced by both fires.
