GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)– A Guntersville radio station has been off the air since Sunday morning, but repairs are underway.

WTWX 95.9, a country music station that serves Marshall County and several surrounding counties, went off the air Sunday morning around 8:15.   That’s according to general manager Kerry Jackson.

He says the problem is with the station’s transmitter.  An engineer arrived Monday morning from Atlanta to try and fix the problem.   Jackson says he hopes to have the station back up and on the air within a few hours.
