CBS Debuts New App

CBS has launched a new app to keep you connected to your favorite shows on the go! If you’re a Survivor junkie, or a fan of The Late Show with David Letterman, now you can stay up-to-date anywhere, anytime.

The free app is available right now for download in the iTunes App Store for both iPhone and iPad, with versions for Android and Windows 8 devices coming later this year.

Full episodes of both daytime and late night programming will be available through the app within 24 hours of airing. Primetime programs will show up after eight days.

CBS executives hope the new app will make it easier for viewers to keep up with hit shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and How I Met Your Mother, as well as discover new programs.

The new app will also integrate with an existing CBS Connect app by the start of the Fall TV season – offering integrated social feeds, live events and additional behind-the-scenes content for select shows.

Buick is the official launch partner for the new CBS app. As a result, users won’t have to sit through as many commercials while watching programming on the app during the next few weeks.
