HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The Amy Bishop Anderson case has been delayed again, specifically, her criminal appeal.

A state court this morning granted the Attorney General's office an extension to file paperwork in opposition to the appeal.

Bishop Anderson shot six colleagues at UAHuntsville back in February of 2010. Three of those shooting victims died.

Bishop Anderson pleaded guilty to capital murder and was sentenced to life in prison.  However, she is appealing on a technicality, saying she was not told verbally that she had the right to withdraw the plea.
