HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Huntsville Police are investigating a robbery at the Family Dollar store on Pulaski Pike.

Police officers on the scene say a man wearing a red hooded jacket and curly wig.  He reportedly held a knife demanded money for the store. The man ran away from the store.

Our WHNT News 19 crew arrived on the scene, parking across the street from the Family Dollar. Reporter Matt Kroschel discovered a trail of money near where our crew parked and alerted police who picked up a track from that location using a K9.
