MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WHNT) — The Tennesee Bureau of Investigation has cancelled an AMBER alert for a 2-month-old.  The child is safe and his father is in custody.  It is believed that the child’s father stabbed the child’s mother and then took the boy.

Adrian Delk Jr. is two months old.   Investigators say early Thursday morning the child’s father, Adrian Delk Sr., stabbed the child’s mother multiple times.  Police say Delk Sr. then took her to a Memphis hospital for treatment and left with the boy.

Delk Sr. was arrested just after 8:00 a.m. in Cordova, Tennessee.  Cordova is a community in Memphis.  Authorities have not provided a condition of the child’s mother.
