School Delays across the Tennessee Valley

TENNESSEE VALLEY (WHNT) – Local school systems are watching the weather closely.  There is a chance for severe storms in the Tennessee Valley on Wednesday morning.

The following school systems have notified us of schedule changes for Wednesday, January 30:

  • Arab City Schools – Opening at 10:00 a.m.
  • Athens Bible School – Opening at 10:00 a.m.
  • Bedford County, TN Schools – 2 hour delay; extended day will open at regular time
  • Bethel Baptist School – Opening at 10:00 a.m.
  • Cullman City Schools – 2 hour delay
  • Cullman County – 3 hour delay
  • Decatur City Schools – Opening at 9:00 a.m.
  • Decatur Heritage Christian Academy – Opening at 9:00 a.m.
  • Fayetteville City Schools, Tn – Closed all day
  • Hartselle City Schools – Opening at 10:00 a.m.
  • Lawrence County, Ala. Schools – 2 hour delay
  • Limestone County – 2 hour delay
  • Lincoln County – Closed all day
  • Madison City Schools – 2 hour delay
  • Morgan County Schools – 2 hour delay
  • Sacred Heart School, Cullman – 2 hour delay
  • St. Bernard Prep School, Cullman – 2 hour delay
  • The Ellis Academy – Opening at 10:00 a.m.
  • Wallace State – Opening at 10:00 a.m.
