Man Attacked in Home Invasion

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) —  Huntsville Police are investigating a home invasion during which a man was hit in the head with a gun and had his motorcycle stolen.

It happened just before 4 a.m. at a home in the 6500-block of Sheri Drive. That's just north of Old Madison Pike.

Police say two men broke into the victim's home. Once inside, one of the men pulled out a gun and demanded the motorcycle keys.

The homeowner told police he was struck in the head with the gun.

The two men took the bike and left.

The victim said he did not need medical treatment.

Police are searching for suspects.
