UAH Men’s Hoops Ranked 13th In Latest Poll

Huntsville, Ala. – After a second consecutive week in which the team won on Thursday before losing on Saturday, the University of Alabama in Huntsville men’s basketball team slipped to the No. 13 position in the latest NABC/Division II Coaches Poll as announced by the association on Tuesday.
The Chargers have been in the poll now for 37 consecutive regular season releases of the poll.
No other Gulf South Conference schools were in the rankings, but NCAA South Region institutions Florida Southern and Rollins were both ranked, coming in at No. 14 and No. 17, respectively. Saint Leo received votes as did North Alabama.
Metro State took over the top spot, with Western Washington moving into second. Kentucky Wesleyan, West Liberty, and Seattle Pacific rounded out the top five.
The Chargers will return to action on Saturday when they venture to Rome, Ga., to take on Shorter.
