Carver-Montgomery's Jeremy Johnson has been named the 2012 Mr. Football by the Alabama Sports Writers Association. Johnson and his 6' 6" Quarterback frame is committed to Auburn University.

Madison Academy's Kerryon Johnson finished third in voting while Madison County's Jordan Chunn came in 5th. Chunn didn't leave empty handed, as the Association named him 4A back of the year.

The awards continue with Tanner RB/LB Fred Rich who took how the honors for 2A Lineman of the year. Rich is able to take that honor because Linebackers fall under the category of Lineman in the voting.
