WASHINGTON, D.C. — The new 113th Congress convened today at noon, and Congressman Mo Brooks (AL-05) joined other House Members in a swearing-in ceremony in the House chamber.

Rep. Brooks is in his second term in Congress, and was elected in 2010.


“I am deeply honored to have been re-elected to a second term in Congress, and I appreciate the trust that the citizens of North Alabama have placed in me,” said Rep. Brooks. “I kept the campaign promises I made in 2010, and I look forward to two more years of working to reduce the deficit, protect defense, and ensure that our children and grandchildren inherit an America true to the values of our Founders.”

The Fifth Congressional District now includes all of Lauderdale, Limestone, Madison, and Morgan Counties, and almost all of Jackson County.  Check your district here:
