UPDATE: Murder Suspect Caught in Georgia

MARIETTA, Ga. (WHNT) – Authorities in Cobb County, Georgia say a man who allegedly murdered his ex-wife has been caught.  He is in Cobb County, and will have his first hearing Thursday night.

This mugshot was taken Thursday evening at the Cobb County Adult Detention Facility.

Authorities say John Steven Kristofak is accused of aggravated assault and murder. 

Kristofak’s ex-wife, Donna Nations Kristofak, died on Saturday.  According to The Atlanta Journal Constitution, he was arrested earlier this year and charged with stalking her.

Kristofak is being held without bond.
